there is a thin line on the deck. if they are allowed to smoke on the right side of this line (complete-not partial). if they are not, they are not allowed and receive a warning to push their chair into the free zone. sometimes when they are part of where it is ok to smoke, smoker people come to their table (out of forbidden zone) and smoke. another way to make friends.
